Eventually in his college career, Max met a guy named Jude after he saved him from impending trouble with the police, and they became quite possibly the best of friends. Max brought his new favorite illegal immigrant home for Thanksgiving where he dropped the bomb that he was dropping out of college. His father, needless to say, was very much not pleased and so Jude and Max ran off to get an apartment together in NYC (but not like that. Really.) But unfortunately, being out of college makes one more susceptible to the dreaded draft. Max got his letter, burned it, but was forced to show up anyway and was successfully drafted into the United States army. His friends all decided to have as much fun as they could that summer, and wound up wasted halfway across the country on a bus, having the best time of his life. But...after that, when they had all collapsed in a field together...Max was nowhere to be found. |
Raven: Max thinks Raven is a bitch who is just a bit too uptight. He didn't get Beast Boy that fucked up, really. Yotsuba: Max thinks Yotsuba is adorable. He's a bit of a bad influence, what with the smoking and the swearing, but he has her well-being at heart, I promise.
